There are countless roulette systems for sale online and not one of them works. The most popular style of roulette system is the progression betting technique. While at first look this might seem like a good system is has major flaws which make it all but useless.
Progression betting systems work like this. You place a 1 unit bet on an even money bet (Red / Black or Odd / Even). If you win you make another 1 unit bet. If you lose you make a two unit bet. For each consecutive loss you double your bet so for example you would bet 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 and so on.
The problem with this type of system is that if you hit a losing streak you will eventually get to the table limit. The other problem is that even if you win at the end of a losing streak you will only be 1 unit ahead - not really a win.

The basis behind progression betting systems is founded on a flawed idea. For example some players would like to believe if red has occurred 10 times in a row that black must occur next. This is not the case. On each spin there is roughly a 50/50 chance of either red or black (The zero is neither)
The odds of any particular outcome on the roulette table do not change - ever. Each spin is also in no way related to the last spin so you cannot base you bets on previous outcomes. Once you lean this you can see why no betting system can ever work.
